This bamboo platform bed is handcrafted from renewable/environmentally friendly materials by local artisans in Southern California. The heavy duty steel side rail brackets eliminate racking, yet allow easy assembly without tools. The sturdy “torsion box” platform provides maximum support for your mattress and eliminates bumpy spots or sagging. There are plenty of under-mattress ventilation ports in the platform for ample air circulation.

The bed is made from Plyboo. Plyboo is a unique material made from laminations of bamboo, a renewable resource that is both strong and beautiful. Non-toxic, environmentally friendly adhesives are used to leave your home a healthier place to live and work, free of dangerous chemicals and gasses. Linseed oil is used for an authentic hand-rubbed finish. This all-natural product is non-toxic and contains no solvents or heavy metal driers. The finishes are natural and considered “food safe.”
