Livingreen carries a complete line of natural mattress and bedding products. Our mattresses are extremely comfortable and made of the highest quality materials. All of the mattresses, toppers, comforters and pillows at Livingreen are free of SVOCs, (semi-volatile organic compounds), VOCs, and petrochemicals. Instead of the synthetic and chemical materials used in conventional mattresses, these organic bed systems are free from flame retardants, chemical dyes, pesticides, and bleach. Materials used in our natural mattresses include: Pure Grow Wool™, organic cotton, and natural Talalay or natural Dunlop latex rubber. Wool is naturally flame retardant and also repels dust mites, making these beds an excellent choice for people with allergies or asthma. The natural latex used in the mattress core is glue-free and has no sand, clay or synthetic fillers added. Our mattresses are available in all standard sizes, some custom sizes and are also available in crib sizes.
Comforters
Livingreen sells two types of comforters. Wool-Fill Comforters are filled with Pure Grow Wool™ and come in regular or tropical weight. Quilted Wool-Fill Comforters are filled with Pure Grow Wool™ which is machine quilted to an organic cotton cover. This comforter is a regular weight comforter with a lighter feel. Wool insulates without overheating to allow a better night’s sleep in any season. Our comforters are covered with organic cotton and hand-tufted.
Wool Mattress Protector
If you are concerned about protecting your mattress, Livingreen carries a moisture-resistant Wool Mattress Protector, designed to lay flat on the mattress (with no straps). Also available in crib size.
Mattress Toppers
Wool mattress toppers are available in 1 1/2” and 3” thicknesses. Natural cotton elastic strips are sewn at the corners for easy attachment to an existing mattress. This topper adds extra comfort to any sleeping surface. For extra luxurious cushioning over a mattress, a 2” latex topper is also available, made of soft 100% natural talalay latex and covered with Pure Grow Wool™ and organic cotton battingquilted to organic knit cotton fabric.
Natural Pillows
Our natural pillows are filled with either Pure Grow Wool or Kapok and covered in organic cotton. Kapok is an alternative for those who want the feel and comfort of down without the potential allergy discomforts. Kapok is a fiber from the seed pod of the Silk Floss Tree. It is a wonderful non-allergenic substitute for down.
Organic Cotton Sheets
Our cotton sheets are made of 100% U.S. certified organically grown Pima cotton. They are finished without chemicals in accordance with OTA standards. Woven to 240 threads per square inch, the cotton used in these sheets is GMO free and grown on small family-owned farms.
