Begley’s Best
Begley’s Best cleaning products have been created by our eco-hero Ed Begley from vegetable-based organic ingredients that readily biodegrade. There are no VOCs, phosphates, perfumes or fragrances and are safe for septic and greywater systems.
All Purpose Cleaner – easily removes dirt, oil and grease and other stains from hard surfaces. Its balanced pH will not harm most surfaces. Formulated with naturally-derived ingredients rather than non-renewable petrochemicals.
Glass and Surface Cleaner – cleans most hard surfaces and degreases inside and outside the home, auto and office.
Spot Remover – a perfect solution for removing spots on colorfast clothing, fabrics, upholstery and carpets. Spray on spotted area, scrub with damp rag or brush and blot dry.
Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day
Mrs. Meyer’s house cleaning, laundry, personal care, and pet products are biodegradable and phosphate-free. They are all made with earth-friendly plant-based ingredients and are never tested on animals. Available in four fragrances: Lemon Verbena, Lavender, BabyBlossom and Geranium all combining essential oils with safe synthetics. Mrs. Meyer’s full line of products makes it possible to clean your home with one single fragrance. All products are packaged in containers that can be reused and recycled.

SafeChoice Carpet Shampoo
The AFM Carpet Care program starts with SafeChoice Carpet Shampoo. We recommend
shampooing any new synthetic carpet that you bring into your home or office. Use a hot water extraction system for best results. The first cleaning helps to remove chemicals such as pesticides and others which are commonly found in new carpet. SafeChoice Carpet Shampoo is formulated without the use of butyl ethers and other irritating chemicals which can be especially dangerous to chemically sensitive people, young children and pets. A strong cleaner and odor remover, SafeChoice is odorless and dye-free. When used properly, it leaves no residue—carpet is not “crunchy” after drying.
SafeChoice Carpet Seal
SafeChoice Carpet Seal is a unique sealer designed to help prevent the offgassing of harmfulchemicals found in carpet backing and adhesives. Formulated for application after shampooing your carpet, SafeChoice Carpet Seal cures into a clear membrane which helps assure that the styrene, pc4, butadiene, and other chemical residues used in the manufacturing of carpet backing, as well as the other toxic chemicals in ordinary carpet adhesives, no longer offgas into the air you breathe. Carpet Seal is odor-free.
SafeChoice Safety Clean
SafeChoice Safety Clean is a highly effective bath and bowl cleaner. It is generally suitable for any high moisture area such as bathrooms, kitchens, saunas, showers, even outside pool tiles and decking. Unlike most commercial cleaners, Safety Clean contains no toxic or hazardous ingredients or cleaning agents like butyl ethers, chlorine bleach, pine oils or masking agents – so you don’t have to put up with a harsh disinfectant smell. Used regularly, Safety Clean is excellent at controlling common bathroom odors.
SafeChoice Lock-Out
The third step to healthy carpet is an application of SafeChoice Lock-Out. In addition to helping repel dirt and stains, Lock-Out also seals and reduces the offgassing of harmful chemicals used in the manufacture of many carpet fibers.
SafeChoice Super Clean
SafeChoice Super Clean is one of the best, safest all-purpose cleaners and degreasers available. Super Clean can take on a broad range of cleaning tasks, from kitchen countertops to industrial floors. Use it everywhere you clean – appliances, counters, bathroom floors, sink tops, and smudged painted or papered walls. Super Clean can also handle tough outdoor jobs like grease-caked patio grills. Super Clean is particularly useful in absorbing offensive odors such as those created by tobacco, diaper pails, and animals. This product is highly concentrated and should be diluted for use from a bucket or a spray bottle. Like all AFM cleaners, Super Clean is not toxic, is biodegradable, and dye and fragrance-free. SafeChoice X-158
SafeChoice X-158 is not a cleaning agent, but a clear, odorless defensive sealer designed to encapsulate surfaces which would typically be subject to mold and mildew attack. SafeChoice X-158 is ideal for unventilated, confined areas and corners such as those found in shower stalls and shower curtains, bathroom grout and saunas. X-158 is durable enough for outside surfaces including exterior walls, epoxy coatings, roofs, air filtration systems, concrete and spa decks. Each application lasts from 30 days to 6 months, depending on the severity of the conditions. Very easy to use, Safecoat X-158 can be sprayed, brushed or even applied with a clean, lint-free cloth.
